Adem Güneş was born in Ankara in 1969. After completing his primary, secondary and high school education in Turkey, he graduated from the Pedagogy Department of Rotterdam University. He completed his master's degree in Sociology. During his doctoral education, he worked on 'Attachment Therapy' at Sakarya University, Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling. While he was going to defend his doctoral thesis, it was postponed due to the treacherous coup attempt of July 15th. He received an honorary doctorate degree from the Senate of Çanakkale 18 Mart University. He received 450 hours of Family Counseling Training at Süleyman Demirel University and "Attachment Therapy" training in America. He received training on WISC-R (WECHLER Intelligence Scale for Children) GESEL, METROPOLITAN, PEABODY, AGTE Tests Application, Interpretation and Reporting. Adem Güneş is a member of the International Family Therapy Association (IFTA), the American Psychological Association (APA), the Association for Play Therapy (APT) and the American Counseling Association (ACA). He examined Alternative Education systems during the years he lived in the Netherlands. Güneş's Child Education approach became the subject of research at the British University of Bristol. He wrote articles about child education in various magazines and made child education programs on national radio channels. He took part in the Child Early Diagnosis Warning System (ÇETUS) project carried out by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK). He worked as a project consultant at TRT Çocuk and Türk Telekom. He was given the Child Friendly Award by the Türkiye Children's Summit, the Media Ethics Award for Family and Children's Programs, and the Honorary Doctorate Title by the Senate of Çanakkale 18 Mart University. He has 22 published works in Turkish and 2 in English. He is among Turkey's best-selling authors in the field of Child Education. Güneş, who is a Pedagogical Consultant and Family Consultant, wrote for Parents Türkiye, Mother&Baby and Aktüel Yaşam magazines. Adem Güneş emphasizes that "Increasing sensitivity towards children will contribute to the psychological well-being of a society." Adem Güneş is married and has four children.
